Vice President Finance & Engineering -- Mark Jones

 Mark Jones is the Vice President of Engineering and Finance of Pioneer Oil.  He is married and has two boys, both of whom he hopes will follow the family tradition of being involved in the oil industry.  A Geologist by profession, he performs activities unique to his functional area aimed at determining oil rich locations for drilling activity. Mr. Mark Jones joined the company shortly after working for a local company performing services related to geological consulting in the Illinois basin area.  Since joining Pioneer, he has performed duties related to all aspects of the oil industry, specializing in geological work and daily operations of the both Pioneer and Franklin. Mark has played a pivotal role not only in the expansion of Pioneer Oil Company, but also in the continued growth of Franklin Well Services.  He has been a major influence in seeing Franklin transition from a private, localized service to an independent company capable expanding internationally.   Mark also ensures that Franklin operates with the utmost integrity, utilizing the newest techniques and most knowledgeable employees to perform their duties.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Oil and Gas Association.  Today he continues to play a key role in the strategic planning activities of the company.
