Vice President Land &
Business Development -- Jim Osborn
Jim
Osborn has 32+ years experience in the Energy Industry. He commenced his
career as a Landman with Amax Coal Co. for whom he became Western Land
Manager. Also in the coal industry, he was Land Manager for Getty Coal
Co., a subsidiary of Getty Oil Co.
During
his career in the oil and gas sector, Mr. Osborn has served as Land
Manager for four oil and gas companies. These opportunities allowed him
to work in several major oil and gas basins. Most recently, he served as
General Manager of Terra Resources Co., LLC, an independent
exploration/production company.
From
1994 to 2003, in addition to consulting in the energy industry, Jim
Osborn served as the U.S. Representative for Fletcher Challenge
Petroleum Corp., a New Zealand company.
Prior to
entering the energy industry, Mr. Osborn was in education.
Subsequently, he was an assistant to then-Mayor Richard Lugar of
Indianapolis for three and a half years.
Other
notable positions include National Coal Council, National Republican
Finance Committee, Economic Advisory Committee, appointed by the
Governor of the State of Illinois, Board of Directors of the American
Association of Professional Landmen, and Past President of the North
Texas Energy Council.
