Orphan Well Project

At Pioneer Oil Company, Inc., we are very committed to protecting the environment; this is why the Orphan Well Project is so important to us.  The purpose of the Orphan Well Project is to plug abandoned wells that no one is willing to claim and reclaim/repair affected sites throughout Southern Indiana.  Our President, Donald E. Jones, Jr., was a driving force in initiating the project and continues to donate thousands of dollars and countless hours towards the project.  Don Jones is currently on the Environmental Advisory Board for the Indiana Oil & Gas Association.
